Our skipper and crew are currently working through The Matthew’s annual winter maintenance programme, preparing the ship for the busy sailing season ahead. We’re also putting together our programme of events and trips for our 2022 sailing season, which runs between April and October.
Dates are published on this page as and when new trips are confirmed, so keep an eye out for all the latest info or register to receive The Matthew newsletter and we’ll let you know when tickets are on sale.
If you'd like to treat someone special to a trip on The Matthew, give them a gift voucher! Our gift vouchers can be used on any trip listed on the website (subject to availability) and are valid for two years.
Head to our Gift Vouchers page for more information and to purchase your voucher.
We are now operating under our winter opening hours: Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm*
It's free to come on board, explore the ship and talk with our dedicated crew of volunteers.
Take a look at our Plan Your Visit pages for more information.
*Please note that opening times are subject to change without notice. For health and safety reasons, we may not be able to open as planned during our winter maintenance programme.
New dates for our 2022 season will be listed here as soon as they are confirmed.
Buying your tickets
Please note that we can only take CASH payments on the ship.
We do not have the facility to accept card payments for tickets purchased on board. Our volunteers will be happy to direct you to the nearest cashpoint.
